Scam Alert!

The Missouri Department of Revenue is warning Missourians of ongoing nationwide text scams. These texts are often threatening, claiming to be from the Missouri Department of Revenue or Department of Motor Vehicles and may include a warning regarding unpaid traffic violations, outstanding toll charges, or fines owed.
Business License May Be Expired

If your business license expired on 12/31/2025, you are not permitted to operate as a Missouri Dealer by Missouri state statute. It is very pertinent that you renew ASAP. Beginning 02/01/2026, any business license account with an expired business license status will no longer be authorized users for MyDMV, Online Notice of Sale, Temporary Permit Registration, and Notice of Lien Record Lookup. Once your license has been made active, your account accesses will be re-activated. If you need assistance, please email dealerlic@dor.mo.gov or call 573-526-3669 option 7.
